Maunga house is designed with care and attention to detail using natural materials and light to create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience. Situated at the end of a long driveway, you feel miles away from civilisation in your private oasis of green and calm. The perfect place to stay with a group of people and experience living and breathing nature to rest and recharge, or to explore the mighty mountain, wild west coast and beautiful Lake Mangamahoe all at a short distance. 

Maunga house is spacious with several living areas both indoors. It is private and fully surrounded by native bush. It is suitable for up to 7 people (two private queen rooms, one room with two single beds or a king size bed and one room with a single bed). Two living areas, three bathrooms, traditional Finnish sauna, large kitchen and dining, separate office/library, spacious gardens, two outdoor sitting spaces including a large covered deck with outdoor table and BBQ and jacuzzi.

The perfect private nature getaway for you and your family or friends to relax, recharge and indulge in all that nature has to offer.

The Maunga House - Price List

$1999 p.n.

Minimum of 2-night stay

Includes private chef to make your meals three times per day from scratch using fresh and organic ingredients grown and raised on our organic farm.

Includes free use of the traditional Finnish sauna and mineral spa pool.
