Maunga house is designed with care and attention to detail using natural materials and light to create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience. Situated at the end of a long driveway, you feel miles away from civilisation in your private oasis of green and calm. The perfect place to stay with a group of people and experience living and breathing nature to rest and recharge, or to explore the mighty mountain, wild west coast and beautiful Lake Mangamahoe all at a short distance. 

Maunga house is spacious with several living areas both indoors. It is private and fully surrounded by native bush. It is suitable for up to 7 people (two rooms with a queen bed, one room with two single beds, one room with a single bed). Two living areas, two bathrooms, traditional Finnish sauna, large kitchen and dining, separate office/library, spacious gardens, two outdoor sitting spaces including a large covered deck with outdoor table and BBQ and jacuzzi.

The perfect private nature getaway for you and your family or friends to relax, recharge and indulge in all that nature has to offer.

The Maunga House - Price List

  • Airport pickup $100 per group

  • Welcome platter, which may include fresh cheese, freshly baked bread and dips and refreshing beverages ($ depending on group size)

  • Chef cooked breakfast and/or lunch made with products from our organic farm. Everything is made fresh and from scratch by our private chef: $25 per person, add barista coffee + $5

  • In-house bodywork session (subject to availability)

  • Horse healing session ($250)

  • EMDR session series (inquire within for duration + pricing)

  • Private mountain tours (inquire within for duration + pricing)

  • In-house dining package - beautiful meals made with organic and fresh farm produce by our private chef, starting at $35 per person
